Currently serving as Director of Finance at PSM Partners, a leading IT consulting firm in Chicago, Germaine is instrumental in aligning financial planning with business objectives and providing strategic insights to support executive decision-making.

In her role at PSM Partners, Germaine oversees all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and reporting. They manage a dedicated team of accounting professionals and ensure financial accuracy through robust internal controls. Key achievements include improving resource allocation, optimizing profitability through cash flow management, and driving operational efficiency across departments. Germaine contributes to the organization’s financial success and long-term growth by collaborating with sales, operations, and procurement teams.

Before stepping into her current role, Germaine served as Controller at PSM Partners, laying the groundwork for financial stability by streamlining processes, implementing compliance measures, and enhancing reporting systems. Germaine’s prior experience spans diverse industries, including roles at ESP Properties as Senior Accountant, where they led month-end reporting, managed accruals, and ensured the accuracy of complex financial records, and at Our Nation’s Enterprise Accounting as Accounting Assistant, where they handled accounts payable, reconciliations, and general ledger integrity.

Germaine holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Robert Morris University in Chicago and has been recognized for her professional excellence, including being awarded PSM’s Circle of Excellence in 2023. Her core competencies include financial analysis, strategic planning, compliance, cash flow optimization, and team leadership, all of which drive meaningful business results.

Outside of her professional life, Germaine cherishes spending quality time with her husband and three sons, finding joy in creating memorable experiences together. An avid traveler with a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, she has visited 15 countries to date, with Greece holding a special place as her favorite destination for its breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and vibrant traditions. With an adventurous spirit and a lifelong curiosity, Germaine is on a mission to explore as many countries as possible, continually expanding her horizons and drawing inspiration from the world around her.

The partners of PSM came together with over 70 years of combined experience in the technology space. In 2015, they shared a tiny office space in Chicago’s financial district. This is where PSM Partners was born and would soon become known as “PSM”.

The partners wanted PSM to be a lifestyle business with a family atmosphere, both internally and externally. Clients, just like team members, would need to be seeking the same type of environment for this to work. Remaining “boutique” means never losing sight of company culture, keeping a cap on company size, and never selling the business.
