Debbie Gregorash, CFP, CPA

Debra Gregorash loves using numbers to solve problems. As one of the Trust Company’s founders, and its Chief Financial Officer, Debbie oversees the compliance, human resources and operations area of the Trust Company.

Debbie began her career at Gary-Wheaton Bank, serving in a number of trust operations and employee benefit plan administration positions. In 1993 she joined with others to form the Trust Company of Illinois. Debbie graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in business administration and has earned the certified public accountant designation. Today she is a member of the Chicago-area President’s Forum CFO group and the Illinois CPA Society and serves on the board of Spectrios Institute for Low Vision in Wheaton.

As a teenager, Debbie received CFO training at a family-owned pharmacy in a small town. She paid bills and made deposits, in addition to being stocker, cashier and pharmacy technician.

Debbie enjoys starting new ventures, and is especially proud of helping her husband start his own business. Debbie sees numbers in everything. She does fractions even when she’s eating. “I always cut my food portions exactly in half,” she says.
