Brian Nelson

Brian Nelson is a finance executive with 25+ years leading high profile technology & SAAS organizations. His combination of working for large corporations, such as Intel and Danaher / Fortive Corporation, and his time spent as a SMB private company CFO has created a wealth of knowledge and passion in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, financial tools & models for better decision making, driving business results through the use of key performance indicators, profit/loss reporting, financial business partnerships with executive leadership teams, owner / operators, and board of directors. In 2021, he led the successful exit of Smartwitness, a family owned $50M technology company, to a Fortune 500 strategic buyer. For his efforts he earned the Smart Business Chicago Dealmakers Conference Dealmaker of the Year Award.

Brian is now CFO of Precision Point Metrics, a PE sponsored, industrial services platform. His areas of focus include business advisory services with a special passion for mergers & acquisitions. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana State University and his M.B.A from Wake Forest University. He currently lives in Scottsdale, AZ with his wife Andrea, son Preston (15) and daughter GiGi (12).
